Haunted Happenings

• Take some spooky snaps with costumed characters at the Zoo's front entrance from 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Wander through animal habitats and collect terrifyingly tasty treats on the trick-or-treat trail.
• Get creative at arts and craft stations. 
• Show off your Halloween style in our kids' costume contest at 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. by the Canopy Courtyard.
• Get down to wickedly good beats from our live DJ, spinning tunes from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Visit Education Stations to find out how you can go green this Halloween.
• October 20, 11:30 a.m, 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.: Join puppeteer, Big Joe the Storyteller, in the Canopy Courtyard for storytelling sessions. 
• Keep an eye out—our animals might be getting into the spirit too!

This Halloween (and every day), choose candy made with certified sustainable palm oil. Palm oil plantations are destroying animal habitats, and palm oil is the most widely used vegetable oil globally, found in everything from snacks to soap.
